Infections

Over the past 15 months Eoghan has been getting ear infections/fluid in his ears over and over again. October he got one at the beginning of the month. I took him in to the doctor's towards mid/end of the month again and he still had one in his right ear. They provided some prescription for his ears. Once he was done taking the medication he started to get a bad bum rash. It lasted for two and a half weeks. I then decided I need to take him in to the doctors again because this rash was not leaving (it would start to go away and then come back worse). They gave him some prescription cream to use and I had them check his ears again to make sure his infections were gone. So that time they looked ok.

Monday the 3rd I took him in for his 15 month check up and he was fine. Friday the 7th his day care called and said they think he has an ear infection because he keeps putting his finger in his ear. So I took him to the doctor and they were right. It was the start of another ear infection. So this time the decided to do injections rather than and oral (since he has taken so much the last month). So he had to get a shot Friday. Saturday and again on Monday. It was so sad, he was super mad and in pain from his shots.

Yesterday Eoghan's inner legs were super red and looked like they had blisters that popped. They looked super painful and the nurse in my department said it might have been hives and take him in to get looked at. So once again off to the doctors we go and they advised to put A & D cream on it or bag balm. They said if it doesn't look better tomorrow to take him in to Primary Children's Hospital to get looked at further. He said it might be a bacterial infection. I am very thankful to report that it is looking better (hopes it stays that way).

Oh you poor thing!
I can relate to the one thing after another..
Christian kept getting infections also, so they did tubes in his ears, and it was heavenly! He was a different baby after that since he was pain free! Poor guy!

I hope your little guy gets better soon!
